A tractor trailer that was reportedly sitting too close to a railroad crossing was clipped by a passing train in Boyd County, Kent., on Wednesday, May 2. According to WSAZ.com, the crash occurred on U.S. 23 near the entrance to the Calgon Carbon Plant. The collision left the truck driver trapped in his vehicle until emergency crews freed him. He was airlifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment of unspecified injuries.
