The driver of a tractor trailer unaware he’d been rear-ended by a passenger vehicle drove about two blocks before realizing a Hyundai was wedged beneath his trailer, according to the Daily Chronicle. The accident occurred on Sunday, Feb. 19, on West Lincoln Highway in DeKalb, Illinois. The driver of the car died in the accident, and two passengers were injured, including one who was airlifted to a medical facility and listed in serious condition. Police are investigating whether excessive speed contributed to the accident.
