A tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle were involved in a two-vehicle crash in Weld County, Col., on Saturday, March 10, that left one person severely injured. According to the Denver Post, the two vehicles were traveling on U.S. 34 near Dearfield when the accident occurred. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital, while the driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries. U.S. 34 was closed in both directions as firefighters battled a brush fire that started in the aftermath of the accident.
