A truck hauling recycled cardboard was involved in a four-vehicle crash in Wayne, N.J., on Monday, April 16, leaving eight people hospitalized. According to NorthJersey.com, the accident occurred at the Hamburg Turnpike-Alps Road intersection, when a passenger car crossed in the path of the recycling truck. The truck and car collided before the truck overturned and landed on another passenger car, trapping the driver of the vehicle inside until rescue crews could free him. The first car caromed off the truck and struck a fourth vehicle, another passenger car. The report did not include details of the severity of the injuries.
