Traffic on westbound Route 78 in Pennsylvania was backed up across the New Jersey state line in the early-morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 31, after a tractor-trailer and a box truck were involved in a fatal accident, according to LehighValleyLive.com.
The crash took place on the eastbound side of the highway, leaving the box truck on its side in the eastbound lanes, and the tractor trailer in the median with extensive front-end damage. According to LehighValleyLive, the box truck had been parked on the shoulder of the highway when it was struck by a Freightliner tractor-trailer.
