The officer was removed from his cruiser with the Jaws of Life and then hospitalized with a broken arm. The truck driver told the officer his brakes locked up and he “started sliding.” The truck wreck took place near the intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and Lincoln Avenue in Mount Dora, Florida.
