STLToday.com reports that a driver dozing at the wheel of a tractor trailer killed another big rig driver around 7am on Saturday, November 13, near Greenville, Missouri. The victim was standing next to his truck, a 2002 Freightliner, by the side of the road in westbound lanes near milepost 44, when the other semi, a 2009 Freightliner, hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the truck wreck.
WGRZ.com reports that a woman was fatally injured on Saturday, November 13, in Evans, New York, when a semi truck collided with her car. The fatal truck accident happened on Southwestern Blvd. (Route 20) at Versailles Plank Road. The car driver was taken to a hospital, where she died; her passenger was taken to a different hospital with less traumatic injuries. The semi truck driver was uninjured.
