A truck hauling 3,500 pounds of a highly flammable hazardous material crashed on Interstate 70 in Indianapolis on Friday, March 16, spilling some of the material into a ditch and injuring the driver of the truck. According to IndyStar.com, the accident happened in the early-morning hours after a blown tire caused the truck driver to lose control of his vehicle. The truck smashed into a guardrail, burst into flames, and spilled a resin solution known to be a respiratory threat into a road-side ditch. The driver was listed in fair condition in nearby hospital.
