Two people riding a motorcycle on Interstate 15 in northwest Arizona were killed when their bike reportedly struck a tractor trailer on Saturday, April 21. According to The Salt Lake Tribune, both vehicles were traveling south on I-15 when the collision occurred. Both people on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured in the accident.

The survey shows that trucks in 64% of fatal accidents were pulling one trailer. The survey also found that 32% of trucks involved in fatal truck accidents were single-unit trucks, and fewer than 4% were multi-trailer trucks.
