Amy Papuga is a Partner of The Law Firm for Truck Safety. She works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. Amy belongs to a select group of plaintiff’s attorneys with a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Only 6.8% of all Class “A” CDL drivers are women.
Moved by her client’s stories and losses, Amy strives for trucking industry policy changes aimed to eliminate catastrophic truck crashes. Amy enjoys developing the facts of every case, building powerful and compelling narratives that champion her clients’ stories.

Amy is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA), vice-chair of the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ) Trucking Safety Section, and is regularly invited to teach and speak on safe driving and truck crash litigation. Not including her time as a litigator, Amy has over 15 years of experience working in the legal field.

After being involved in a semi-truck accident, it is not only important to have individuals excelling for you legally, but it is also imperative to have people on your side that understand all the emotions, worries, physical pain, mental drain, etc. that come with being a victim of an accident. Personal Info

Prior to earning her law degree, Amy held a long, successful career in the legal space working as a file clerk, legal secretary, and paralegal. While attending school full-time to earn her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in criminal justice (University of Nevada Las Vegas and the University of Cincinnati) Amy worked full-time.

In 2013, she moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to northeast Ohio, where she worked full-time as a paralegal while attending law school part-time. This endeavor would not have been possible without the full support of her husband, Bob.

When she is not helping truck crash victims find justice, you can find Amy gardening, training her dogs, or enjoying a night out at a local speedway track.
