Since joining the firm in 2024, Jon has recovered more than $100 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients. His most notable recent achievement came alongside colleague Michael Leizerman: an $82.1 million verdict in Jefferson County, Ohio – recognized as both the largest known trucking verdict in Ohio history and the largest known amputation verdict in United States history.
A proud double Buckeye, Jon earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from OSU’s Moritz College of Law, graduating cum laude. He received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in both Trial Practice and Law & Economics, as well as the Judge Joseph H. Harter Memorial Award for Excellence in Trial Practice.
Jon remains deeply engaged in the broader trucking litigation community as an active member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, American Association for Justice Trucking Litigation Group, and the Ohio Association for Justice Trucking Safety Section.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Jon now calls Columbus’s Merion Village neighborhood home, where he lives with his wife, Megan, and their two boys. When he’s not in the courtroom, you’ll find him chasing after his kids, cheering on the Bills, or following the Buckeyes.
