A two-year-old child died after the car in which he was riding was struck by a cement truck in West Jordan, Utah, on the afternoon of Monday, Feb. 7. According to ksl.com, the cement truck was traveling north on U-111 when it struck the passenger car, which waited at the intersection of U-111 and Old Bingham Highway. The child's mother, and a second a child, were both taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the cement truck was reportedly not injured in the crash.
