Nearly seven miles of Interstate 176 were closed on Thursday, April 5, after a dump truck hauling coal collided with a tractor trailer in Berks County, PA. According to The Mercury, the tractor trailer rear-ended the dump truck, causing it lose control and spill coal across a 100-yard stretch of the road. The tractor trailer careened onto the shoulder and was destroyed in a fire, which spread temporarily into a small brush fire along I-176.
