A man was killed Thursday, March 1, on Interstate 94 near the Illinois-Wisconsin border when the car in which he was riding was hit by two tractor trailers. According to the DailyHerald.com, the vehicle was first hit by a tractor trailer as the two vehicles traveled the eastbound lanes. That collision sent the car spinning into the westbound lanes, where it was struck by a second tractor trailer. The man, who was a passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was taken to a nearby medical facility with unspecified injuries.
