I offer my sincere condolences to the family of the 33-year-old New York man who died Tuesday, November 10 in the town of Concord, New York, yet another family mourning a loved one lost to a tragic big rig wreck.
The accident happened at the intersection of Genesee Road and Springville-Boston Road in Concord. Reports indicate that an 18-wheel truck driven by a 22-year-old Jasper, New York resident ran a stop sign and crashed into the victim’s pickup truck. The results of an initial police investigation indicate that drugs or alcohol were not a factor in this crash. The driver stated that he did not see the stop sign before striking the pickup truck. While the driver of the 18-wheeler suffered minor injuries, the driver of the pickup truck died at the scene.
