A tractor trailer reportedly merged from the left to the center lane on Interstate 74 in East Peoria, Ill., striking a car and injuring its three passengers on Tuesday, April 10. According to PJStar.com, both vehicles were eastbound on I-74 when the collision occurred, forcing the car to spin out and slide into the path of the semi. The tractor trailer then plowed into the car and pushed it into the median. All three people in the car, including a 2-year-old child, were taken to a nearby medical facility and treated for minor injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer was cited for improper lane usage.
