April 6th marked ATAA’s inaugural New Trucking Lawyer Division Bootcamp. Located at the Rio in Las Vegas, NV the three-day event gave personal injuryLegal term for an injury to the body, mind, or psyche, as opposed to an injury to property. attorneys hands-on practice honing the skills needed to master trucking cases.
60 new trucking lawyers from across the US came to Las Vegas to learn from the Nation’s leading trucking lawyers on topics ranging from trucking standards to effective cross-examination of the defense. TLFTS Managing Partner, Michael Leizerman, gave the lecture, “How to Find and Apply Standards in Trucking Cases”, using his 25+ years of truck crash law experience.
New trucking lawyers then broke into smaller groups to practice and receive hands-on feedback from experienced truck accident attorneys on the topic covered in each lecture portion.

On the inaugural day of the Bootcamp, NTLD Bootcamp attendees were treated to dinner at Gordon Ramsay Steak in the Paris Casino. The private dining event allowed ATAA Bootcamp attendees to further collaborate on the trucking litigation topics covered during the workshop in a more casual setting.
