The Law Firm for Truck Safety is expanding its nationwide presence to the Southwest with the addition of Partner Ryan Skiver. The move marks the firm’s first presence in Arizona, California, and Nevada, and deepens its reach into Illinois and Texas, giving truck crash victims across the region direct access to focused, experienced trucking litigation counsel.
Ryan brings 20 years of legal experience to the firm, along with a firsthand understanding of the industry he now holds accountable. He completed truck driver training school and earned his Commercial Driver’s License, experience he draws on directly when building trucking cases. He is board-certified in Truck Accident Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, joining several of the firm’s other attorneys who hold the same distinction. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association for Justice.
An Ohio native who moved west for law school and never looked back, Ryan built his career across California, Arizona, and Texas courtrooms, including arguing before the Arizona Supreme Court, where he won a unanimous decision protecting injured workers. He founded his own firm, Skiver Bradley, in 2016, after several years in private practice.
“Trucking cases are won by people who understand what actually happens behind the wheel and inside a fleet’s operation, not just what the law says,” shared Ryan. “Joining The Law Firm for Truck Safety lets me bring that ground-level knowledge to a firm with the national resources – and trial record to match it – and gives victims and families across the Southwest a stronger voice.”
Arizona, California, and Nevada represent significant, previously unserved territory for the firm, while Ryan’s Texas license extends the firm’s practical footprint in a state where trucking litigation is both high-volume and high-stakes. With an office in Phoenix, the firm is positioned to serve truck crash victims throughout Arizona, while extending support to clients across California, Nevada, and Texas.
“Ryan’s addition isn’t just geographic growth – it’s the kind of hands-on trucking knowledge that makes a real difference in these cases,” said Michael Leizerman, one of the firm’s Ohio partners. “Between his CDL, his NBTA certification, and his trial record in front of courts like the Arizona Supreme Court, Ryan is exactly the kind of attorney our clients in the Southwest deserve. This is a major step in bringing our mission to a part of the country that needs it.”
Ryan graduated from Southwestern Law School in the top 20% of his class and participated in the Honors Trial Advocacy Program. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Ohio University. He is admitted to practice law in Arizona, California, Illinois, Nevada, and Texas.
