Josh brings significant litigation experience and a deep commitment to client advocacy. He previously served as an Associate at a prestigious Amlaw 100 firm, where he successfully prosecuted and defended large commercial disputes. With a background in complex commercial litigation, he is well-equipped to handle detailed investigations, legal strategies, and advocacy needed to fight for clients’ rights in personal injury cases. “I’m excited to join The Law Firm for Truck Safety and dedicate my practice to helping victims of catastrophic truck crashes,” said Funderburke. “Throughout my career, I’ve seen the impact that thorough investigation and persuasive advocacy can have. Josh previously clerked for the Honorable Mary S. Scriven of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Florida State University College of Law, finishing in the top 10% of his class and entering into the Order of the Coif. Josh was also on the FSU Trial Team where he won, among others, Best Advocate, Best Closing Argument, and Best Cross Examination awards in multiple national mock trial competitions. The FSU Trial Team named Josh the Best Advocate of his class in his second year.
