A passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer truck collided in Philipstown, N.Y. on Thursday, Feb. 2, spilling more than 100 gallons of fuel onto Route 9 and leaving the driver of the car hospitalized. According to lohud.com, the car was traveling southbound on Route 9 and crossed the double-yellow line when it struck the northbound tractor-trailer. The driver of the truck was uninjured, according to the report. Cleanup crews spent several hours cleaning the highway before it reopened.
