A tractor trailer collided with a passenger car on Interstate 4 near Lakeland, Fla., on Tuesday, April 17, killing the 63-year-old woman who was driving the car. According to WTSP.com, the accident occurred as the tractor trailer merged onto the highway from Memorial Boulevard. As the truck merged into traffic, the car slowed abruptly and the truck smashed into it from behind. Both vehicles pulled to the shoulder of the road and burst into flames. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, charges in the accident are pending.
