Route 274, Fairfield County, OH
Rollover Crash | Spine Injury
—
In December of 2007, an Ohio truck driver hauling “piggyback” trucks was driving on State Route 68 while a Schwan’s box truck making home deliveries pulled up to a stop sign on Route 274. As the driver of the piggyback truck approached the intersection the Schwan’s truck driver pulled into the intersection. To avoid a collision, the piggyback truck driver swerved into a ditch, rolling his vehicle, and injuring himself as a result.
The driver of the overturned truck underwent surgery for herniated discs which ultimately kept him from returning to truck driving. The Law Firm for Truck Safety’s Michael Leizerman secured justice through a $10.9M verdict for the Ohio man unjustly injured due to the negligence of the Schwan’s driver.
