The Law Firm for Truck Safety attorneys, Michael Leizerman and Joshua Leizerman, received a $13.5M settlement in Wood County, Ohio for the wife and children of an Ohio man who lost his life in an underride crash in the fall of 2020.

While driving down a rural state route, a tractor-trailer driver failed to stop at a posted stop sign, causing an underride collision.

The USF Holland tractor-trailer driver was using his cell phone, texting, as he was heading eastbound when he missed the posted stop sign, causing a collision as the other driver had the right-of-way with no stop sign. The texting semi-truck driver caused an underride collision that instantly killed the driver of the vehicle.
