Front Override Crash | Wrongful Death

The Law Firm for Truck Safety’s truck crash attorneys Andy Young and DJ Young and Amy Papuga secured a $2.5M settlement for a mother and father who tragically lost their only daughter on rural Ohio roadway.

While near Cedarville Ohio, a semi-truck driver began to lose control and drift into the right berm of the roadway. While drifting, he overcorrected into the left lane, and directly into the driver’s side door of an oncoming vehicle. The driver, an 18-year-old female, was killed instantly.

At the time of the crash, the semi-truck driver was using a headset and had only one hand on the wheel. The combination of distracted driving and improper vehicle operation were contributing factors in this crash.
