On a winter day, snow and icy conditions caused traffic to back up along I-71 in Cuyahoga County, OH. Our client, traveling along the interstate, slowed down for traffic. However a truck driver, also traveling the same direction failed to stop (within an assured clear distance ahead) and rear-ended our client’s car, killing them. In addition to the truck driver’s unsafe driving, the snowy weather and icy road conditions were also a factor in this crash.
