Multiple road construction workers were struck by a gas tanker in a construction zone, killing one and injuring several others. A Watkins Oil Company Transport gas tanker driver fell asleep at the wheel and hit the construction workers, due to driver fatigue.
Had the driver followed proper driving protocols and rested before continuing to the destination, the fatal crash could have been avoided.
