A bicyclist was seriously injured on Tuesday, Feb. 28, when he was struck by a tractor trailer while riding on U Street NW in Washington D.C. According to a report by WAMU, the cyclist was riding a bike from the Capital Bikeshare program when he was hit by a tractor trailer between 10th and 12th streets. He was transported to a nearby hospital and listed in stable condition. A police investigation into the accident continues.
