A total of $86 million in state and federal funds are being spent on high speed connecting ramps and otherwise improving the I95/Route 1 interchange. The federal government is providing $54 million and the State of Delaware $32 million. This is part of a multi-year project to improve traffic flow on I-95. This part of the project is estimate to take three years, according to the Delaware Department of Transportation.
