A delivery truck and a passenger vehicle were involved in a two-car accident in Abilene, Tex., on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 8, according to KTXS.com. A FedEx truck driver was trapped inside his vehicle after the accident, which reportedly occurred when the FedEx truck slammed into a pickup truck from behind as the pickup was slowing to make a left turn. Both trucks were traveling south on Highway 36, and the pickup was reportedly attempting to turn onto CR 605. Extrication equipment from the Abilene Fire Department was used to free the driver of the FedEx truck; both drivers were transported to a nearby hospital with unreported injuries.
