The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating an accident involving a tractor trailer and a dune buggy that left one man dead on Sunday, April 15. According to TheState.com, the dune buggy was traveling on U.S. 17-A when it collided with the 18-wheeler about seven miles north of Moncks Corner. The man who was killed was a passenger in the dune buggy; the driver of the recreational vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility. The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident.
