A tractor trailer hauling garbage in Yonkers collided with a passenger car on Friday, April 6, killing the driver of the car. According to LoHud.com, the two vehicles collided and the car was crushed between the semi and a concrete barrier that divides Central Park Avenue from Interstate 87. The New York State Thruway was closed for more than two hours as a result of the accident.
