A van struck a tractor trailer that suddenly slowed after the driver experienced trouble with its air brakes on Interstate 94 in suburban Detroit on Tuesday, April 10. According to WXYZ.com, both vehicles were traveling west on I-94 near Shook Road in Harrison Twp. when the van smashed into the back of the tractor trailer. The driver of the van was taken to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition. The driver of the truck reportedly told police that his vehicle slowed after he experienced problems with the truck's air brakes.
