A tractor trailer was reportedly speeding when it collided with two passenger cars on Highway 11-W near Kingsport, TN, on Thursday, April 12. According to the Johnson City Press, the driver of the tractor trailer had set his cruise control at 58 m.p.h., despite the 45 m.p.h. speed limit, when his truck smashed into two passenger vehicles at the intersection of Highway 394. The woman driving one of cars was flown to Bristol Regional Medical Center, while the driver of the other car was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center. Both reported minor injuries.
