The driver of a minivan was killed when a tractor trailer smashed into her vehicle in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Tuesday, March 27. According to MyFox8.com, the woman was turning from Byerly Road onto Reidsville Road when she crossed into the path of a semi traveling northbound on Reidsville. The driver of the truck swerved to avoid the collision but crashed into an SUV in the next lane, then caromed into the minivan. A passenger in the minivan was seriously injured in the accident as well, and a man riding in the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The tractor trailer driver was not injured.
