A truck driver who stopped his vehicle in the fast lane of a San Antonio freeway, causing a three-vehicle collision that left one man dead on Monday, March 5, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide, according to the San Antonio Express-News. An 18-wheeler, according to the report, stopped in the fast lane of Loop 410 when a second tractor trailer slammed into it from behind, killing the driver of the second vehicle. A pickup truck then barreled into the wreckage, injuring the driver of that vehicle. The driver who has been charged with initiating the crash was not injured, according to the report.
