In addition to being a partner at the Law Firm for Truck Safety, Michael Leizerman is the co-founder of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA).
Michael and his wife and law partner, Rena Leizerman, authored the 4,000 page West/AAJ treatise, Litigating Truck Accident Cases. He was the First Chair of AAJ’s Trucking Litigation Group.
Michael is a Class A commercial driver’s license holder and is board-certified in truck accident law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

2023 New Trucking Lawyers Division Bootcamp
Join members of The Law Firm for Truck Safety at the 2023 NTLD Bootcamp at the Mirage in Las Vegas! The 2023 NTLD Bootcamp is scheduled for March 29-April 1, 2023 at the Mirage in Las Vegas. This program is limited to 80 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
The NTLD Bootcamp is a great opportunity open to lawyers new to trucking litigation, who have been handling trucking cases for 0-5 years. You will get hands-on practice, coached by experienced faculty, in the skills needed to master trucking cases.
America’s top trucking lawyers will teach how to:
Find the rules applicable to trucking cases;
How to use those rules or industry standards to prove both driver and company negligence;
Effective examination of defense witnesses, including drivers, safety directors, and other company personnel; and
Give winning opening statements.
After each lecture, attendees will break into small groups in which they will practice these skills. Each attendee will get to find rules, examine witnesses, and give an opening statement. Each attendee will receive feedback and coaching from experienced faculty.
Program dates are March 29-April 1, 2023. You must arrive on March 29th in time to register between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
