The American Bar Association’s standing committee on specialization recognized this board certification by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) in August of 2018.

Michael Leizerman is licensed in Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and Tennessee. Rena Leizerman is licensed in Ohio and Illinois. Andy Young is licensed in Ohio and D.C. DJ Young is licensed in Ohio, Virginia, and Texas. Matthew Wright is licensed in Tennessee and Ohio. Joe Ervin is licensed in Oklahoma. Jon Bond is licensed in Ohio. Anna Eisner-Seder is licensed in Illinois.

Illinois – the Supreme Court of Illinois does not recognize certifications of specialties in the practice of law and that the certificate, award, or recognition is not a requirement to practice law in Illinois.

New York – The NBTA is not affiliated with any governmental authority. Certification is not a requirement for the practice of law in the State of New York and does not necessarily indicate greater competence than other attorneys experienced in this field of law.

Ohio – The Supreme Court of Ohio does not recognize the specialty area of truck accident law, and the recognition is not required to practice law in Ohio. Michael Leizerman, Andy Young, Matthew Wright, and Rena Leizerman are certified as specialists in Truck Accident Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA).

Tennessee – Matthew Wright and Michael Leizerman are certified as specialists in Truck Accident Law by the NBTA.

Michael Leizerman has taken over 15 bus and truck cases to trial since 2006. After researching other plaintiffs’ lawyers, we believe this is more than any plaintiff’s trucking lawyer in the country.
