Traffic on the southbound New Jersey turnpike near Robbinsville, N.J., was slowed on the morning of Monday, Feb. 27, when two semi tractor trailers and a horse trailer were involved in a three-vehicle accident. According to MyFoxPhoenix.com, one semi struck the rear of the horse trailer, while the truck pulling the horse trailer was pinned beneath another semi in front of it. It took rescue workers nearly two hours to free the driver of the truck pulling the horse trailer from his vehicle. He was flown to a nearby medical facility with unspecified injuries. The condition of the horses, as well as that of either semi driver, was unknown.
