A man driving a pickup truck was critically injured when his vehicle collided with a tractor trailer on Interstate 57 in West Frankfort, Ill., on Thursday, March 22. According to the Daily American News, the pickup truck reportedly swerved into the median of I-57 before it re-entered traffic and struck the semi. The man was transported to an area medical facility before being airlifted to a St. Louis hospital for treatment.
