Rear-End Crash | Amputation

While traveling on an interstate in northern Ohio, our client, a tractor-trailer driver, pulled onto the side of the road to check the air pressure in his vehicle. The driver of another semi-truck rear-ended the stopped truck, which pushed him down and ran over his legs.
As a result of the semi-truck driver’s negligence, both of our client’s legs were amputated. The Law Firm for Truck Safety’s Michael Leizerman secured a $12M settlement after this tragic crash.
