The driver of a tanker truck was killed when his vehicle went over the side of a narrow wooden bridge in Schriever, Louisiana, on Monday, March 12. According to HoumaToday.com, the truck was traveling a small rural road when its load of drilling pipes shifted, rocking the truck and pushing it into the swampy canal below. The accident marks the second report of a truck driver dying in a crash in Terrebonne County this month. In a separate crash that police suspect is a case of truck driver fatigue, a truck driver was also killed when her tractor trailer smashed into a concrete barrier on U.S. 90 on March 2.
